Sam Raimi’s Drag Me to Hell Trailer

Sam Raimi is back to his old self again with his new release ‘Drag Me to Hell’. I wish I could have seen it when they screened it at SXSW, from what I hear it was amazing.  This is on my list of Must See Movies. Make sure to reserve May 29th so you can go check this movie out in theaters, I know I am. Let me know what you think.

A loan officer (Alison Lohman) ordered to evict an old woman (Lorna Raver) from her home finds herself the recipient of a supernatural curse, who turns her life into a living hell. Desperate, she turns to a seer to try and save her soul, while evil forces work to push her to a breaking point.

S. Darko

So I happen to find the trailer to the sequel to Donnie Darko. Honestly, I don’t really know what to say. I hope its good but I’m preparing for the worst. Watch it and let me know what you think. On DVD and Blu-Ray April 28, 2009

S. Darko takes place in the summer of 1995, seven years after the original film. It follows Donnie Darko’s younger sister, Samantha (Daveigh Chase), who, in the wake of his death, has found herself at age 17 with a broken family, mired in feelings of insignificance. She and her best friend Corey (Evigan) set off on a road trip to Hollywood in a bid to ‘make it big’, but their journey is cut short when their car breaks down unexpectedly, leaving them stranded in a small desert town. When a meteorite happens to crash-land nearby, Samantha is plagued by bizarre visions telling of the universe’s end and it appears that their breakdown was part of some grander plan. When she finds out she was actually adopted by the Darkos, and that she is in no way related to Donnie, she must face her own demons and, in doing so, save the world and herself.

The Watchmen!

So The Watchmen is coming out this Friday and I can’t wait! I already purchased my tickets a couple days ago. So who else is going to see The Watchmen on Friday? I honestly feel that this is going to be an even greater movie that The Dark Knight. I have been a fan of the comic book for years. I just hope they do it justice with this movie. Either way it goes this movie looks so kick ass! I’m just fortunate to live in Austin Texas where the Alamo Drafthouse is located. What could be better than a good meal and The Watchmen all while drinking some good beer?

Quentin Tarantino’s Inglourious Basterds

So if you don’t know already, I’m a big movie buff. Tarantino always releases a unique type of movie, generally always worth checking out. Mix Tarantino with WW2 and we have Inglourious Basterds. This movie looks like its going to be awesome, and I love almost every movie that has Brad Pitt in it. This movie is definitely worth watching. What do you think?
